COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF CLINICAL AND VISUAL CHARACTERISTICS OF OSTEOMALACIA AND SPONDYLOARTHRITIS

Abstract

Objective: To compare the clinical and radiological characteristics of
osteomalacia and spondyloarthritis/ ankylosing spondylitis ( SpA /AS) for
differential diagnosis.
Methods: a retrospective analysis of patients diagnosed with osteomalacia
was carried out at the Traumatology Center 260 Hospital (Samarkand, Uzbekistan)
from January 2018 to January 2022. Clinical and radiological data of all patients
were collected; at the same time, age and sex matched patients with SpA /AS were
selected for comparison.
