Abstract

The article is devoted to the study otosclerosis, acoustic impedance testing will show a superficial tympanogram (type AS) or a normal tympanogram (type A) because otosclerosis increases the stiffness of the middle ear system, which may decrease conduction, and a stapedial reflection reflex (or absence thereof) may be seen on reflex testing.
